The Denver Broncos are moving on to the AFC Championship Game after their win over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.

That means any Broncos coach who is drawing interest for a head-coaching job can't interview with teams this week. Instead, teams will have to wait another week.

One Broncos assistant drawing interest from teams is quarterbacks coach passing-game coordinator Davis Webb, who has interviewed with the Las Vegas Raiders and Baltimore Ravens.

If those teams are seriously considering hiring Webb, they will want to hold a second interview with the 30-year-old coach. But those interviews now cannot happen until after the AFC Championship Game.

If the Broncos win that game over the New England Patriots, Webb will be able to interview with the Ravens and Raiders during the Super Bowl bye week but they cannot hire him until after the Big Game.

If the Broncos lose to the Patriots, Webb can be interviewed for a second time and hired next week.

Of course, the risk with waiting for Webb is the Raiders and/or Ravens could lose out on other candidates they might be interested in hiring in the process for a guy who may not land with them even if they wait.

Webb is quite the interesting candidate, as he's viewed as a rising star around the NFL and would become the second-youngest head coach in NFL history if hired.

He is just two days older than Sean McVay was when he was hired by the Los Angeles Rams.

But that young age and Webb's lack of experience beyond being a quarterbacks coach and passing-game coordinator also makes him a risky hire.

Webb, who was a former third-round pick of the New York Giants, can alleviate that concern with teams by bringing in experienced coordinators with him, like McVay did in Los Angeles.

It remains to be seen if the Ravens and Raiders are interested in him enough to consider hiring him, but one report from Sports Illustrated's Hondo Carpenter revealed that Webb impressed the Raiders and could get a second interview.

“Davis Webb, who is the 30-year-old passing game coordinator for the Broncos, interviewed the other day with the Raiders, and late last night I got some great feedback on the interview," Carpenter said on the Las Vegas Raiders Insider podcast. "I was told that it was not good. It was phenomenal.”

“I would just say this, I think the Raiders were very pleasantly surprised. I’m not predicting he’s going to get a second interview, but it would not shock me at all. I asked the person I spoke to, do you think [there] is going to be a second interview? And their exact words were, ‘Wouldn’t be surprised.’ That was exactly how they worded it," Carpenter added.

As impressive as Webb was, will that be enough for any team to wait for him?

Only time will tell.
