There was a troubling injury update for Las Vegas Raiders star Brock Bowers on the team's practice report on Thursday.
According to Las Vegas' Thursday injury report, Bowers (knee) was listed as a non-participant, which is a downgrade from Wednesday when he was limited.
Bowers practiced in full throughout last week, so the simple fact he was limited to start this week was already a concern. Now that he has been downgraded from Wednesday to Thursday, we're even more worried.
Bowers has been dealing with a knee issue since he sustained the injury in Week 1, but he has yet to miss a game.
However, Bowers has seen a noticeable dip in production over the last three weeks after he posted a 100-yard game in Week 1, which has left many to wonder if he is being hampered by the injury.
That said, quarterback Geno Smith has struggled, so that could also be the explanation for his struggles.
Nevertheless, Bowers is now in danger of sitting out this week and what he does on Friday will likely determine if he plays or not.
We have seen Bowers play with only limited practices in a week. In fact, he had two non-participations and one limited session before playing in Week 2.
As long as he's able to log a limited practice on Friday, there's a good chance the second-year phenom will play against the Colts.
