Add another NFL record to the resume of Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers.

According to Raiders digital managing editor Rachel Gossen, Bowers now holds the NFL record for the most receptions by a tight end in their first two seasons in the league, passing Detroit Lions star tight end Sam LaPorta.

"With that catch, Brock Bowers has surpassed Sam LaPorta (146) for the most receptions by a tight end in his first two seasons all-time," Gossen wrote.

Bowers broke the record when he recorded his third catch of the game against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night in Week 11, giving him 147 for his career.

What makes Bowers breaking LaPorta's record more impressive is the fact that he did it with eight games to spare this season. Furthermore, Bowers missed three games earlier in the campaign due to injury.

This is just the latest record Bowers has broken.

During his rookie campaign, Bowers broke the rookie tight end records for most receptions and receiving yards in a season, which were held by LaPorta and Mike Ditka, respectively.

He also holds the all-time record for most receptions in a single season by a rookie pass-catcher at any position.

Safe to say, Bowers has been everything the Raiders could've hoped for, and then some.

Now, the Raiders just have to find him a long-term partner at quarterback, as Geno Smith clearly ain't it.
