One week after some fools on social media were calling him a bust following a bad preseason debut, Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty is showing why he was so highly-touted coming out of college.

Jeanty tallied -1 yards on three carries in preseason Week 1, but that was hardly his fault, as his offensive line was awful and didn't open up any lanes for him to run through.

Fast forward to preseason Week 2 and Jeanty is getting the space he needs to operate and is brutalizing 49ers defenders in the process.

On the first series of the game, Jeanty lowered his shoulder and laid the boom on 49ers linebacker Tatum Bethune. While Bethune was sent to the ground, Jeanty recovered from the hit and kept it moving before being tackled.

Then, on Las Vegas' second drive, Jeanty broke loose for a long gain and leveled another 49ers defender in the process.

Not long after that, Jeanty found the end zone for his first NFL touchdown, but not before laying the boom once again.

Through two drives, Jeanty has seven carries for 33 yards and the score, and he has one catch for two yards. We've also seen him pass protect, giving us a look at every aspect of his game.

Amazing what a little blocking can do.
