The Kansas City Chiefs have given wide receiver Xavier Worthy the questionable tag ahead of the Week 12 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Worthy started off the week as a non-participant in practice due to an ankle injury, but he then turned in a limited session on Thursday and a full practice on Friday before drawing the questionable tag.
Worthy's uptick in practice participation over the course of the week suggests he's going to play. Here's what we know.
Is Xavier Worthy playing today?
UPDATE: Worthy is officially ACTIVE for the Chiefs on Sunday.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Worthy is indeed expected to suit up in Week 12.
"Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy, listed as questionable with an ankle injury, is expected to go Sunday, source said," Rapoport reported.
Xavier Worthy start or sit advice for Week 12
It has been a disappointing season for Worthy, who ranks as WR56 overall in terms of fantasy points per game scored.
The Colts are tied for the 12th-most fantasy points per game given up to wide receivers, but this will also be the first week in which Indy will have all three of its top cornerbacks, Sauce Gardner, Charvarius Ward and Kenny Moore in action.
When taking everything into account, it's hard to trust Worthy in lineups.
Verdict: Sit
