Something weird happened before the second half of the Week 1 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.
Prior to the second-half kickoff, the Chargers took the field and were ready to roll, but the Chiefs were nowhere to be found and were clearly late getting back on the field.
Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh looked puzzled as to what was going on and it wasn't clear initially why the Chiefs arrived on the field so late.
Once they did appear, Kansas City took its sweet time getting out of the tunnel, and head coach Andy Reid even stopped at the exit of the tunnel to say a few words to his team before the Chiefs finally ran out to take the field.
"Should we bring in Terry McAulay to see if you can call a 'delay of game' on a team coming late out of the locker room?"

Here's what we know about the Chiefs' delayed entrance into the second half.
Why did Chiefs leave the locker room late?
According to the YouTube broadcast, there was a miscommunication and the Chiefs thought they had more time to get back on the field.
Mystery solved.
