The Kansas City Chiefs won't have the services of wide receiver Rashee Rice and quarterback Patrick Mahomes for the Week 16 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Mahomes is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL in the Week 15 contest versus the Los Angeles Chargers, which leaves backup Gardner Minshew as the team's starter in Week 16.

As for Rice, he suffered a concussion in the same contest and did not practice at all this week before being ruled out on Friday.

Rice being out presents an opportunity for more work for fellow wideout Xavier Worthy, but the absence of Mahomes is a concern for both Worthy and tight end Travis Kelce.

Here's what we would do with both on Sunday.

Travis Kelce start or sit advice

Sure, there's no telling what Kelce will do with Minshew throwing him the football, but the fantasy playoffs aren't the time to be sitting your studs.

And, yes, Kelce is still a stud at the tight end position in fantasy football, as evidenced by his ranking as TE2 overall entering Week 16.

Minshew isn't great, but he is better than most backup quarterbacks in the NFL, so that gives us hope he can get Kelce going on Sunday.

The Titans aren't a scary defense at all, as Tennessee presents a middle-of-the-road matchup, with the Titans giving up the 15th-most fantasy points per game to the position this season.

Temper expectations, but you simply can't sit Kelce in Week 16.

Verdict: Start

Xavier Worthy start or sit advice

Worthy has had a very disappointing season, with the second-year wideout ranking as WR54 overall in fantasy points per game going into Sunday.

Worthy has been a bit better over his last four games, but he still only ranks as WR47 overall in that span.

The Titans do present a very favorable matchup for wide receivers, with Tennessee ceding the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position in 2025.

However, we just haven't seen enough from Worthy this season to trust him with a backup quarterback in Week 16.

Verdict: Sit
