Travis Kelce is heading toward learning what marriage is like.
But he already expects one "marriage to pick up right where it left off" -- that's how the Kansas City Chiefs' legendary tight end described the return of Eric Bieniemy to K.C. To regain his role as offensive coordinator there after a few seasons away.
Kelce said that as part of the latest episode of his New Heights podcast.
And that comment has Pat McAfee thinking retirement may not be a sure thing for Kelce.

McAfee, on his show on Thursday, had this to say:
"'I can't wait to see him back in the building,' (McAfee quotes Kelce). What does that mean? Like from the outside looking at the building, him walking around, he can't wait to peak through the windows and see Bieniemy."
Co-host A.J. Hawk chimed in: "To me, it sounded like Trav saying, 'Hey guys, here we go. I can't wait for another fun season with the Chiefs."
McAfee replied: "That's what it sounds like... Him saying that, he knows people are going to (talk about it). We're ready for the Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes show to roll on."
Kelce, 36, just had what must've been his most disappointing season with the Chiefs. They finished 6-11 and didn't even sniff the playoffs.
The competitor inside of him can't want to finish his career like that.

There's the added torn ACL question with Patrick Mahomes, but they could certainly find a groove by the middle of next season if they want to.
Kelce may not make his full decision until after his actual wedding in June to Taylor Swift, but at least these comments make it seem more likely he makes it back for some more football.
