Taylor Swift has dropped a new album. She first announced The Life of a Showgirl on the New Heights podcast with her fiancé, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.

Despite Swift's obsession with the number 13, this is her 12th studio album — and it features 12 tracks. Swift is known for weaving hidden references into her songs and often singing about her love life or past relationships. The Life of a Showgirl is her first studio album since she began dating Kelce, and several of the songs appear to be directed at him.

Some of the references are playful, focusing on their relationship and how he restored her faith in love. Others are more pointed — including at least one that seems to nod to a particular body part of Kelce's that she admires.

Some feature a single line that seems to reference the football player, while another awkwardly comes across as an in-depth homage to a particular part of him.

Ophelia is a heroine from Shakespeare's Hamlet. In this song, Swift intertwines her own story with Ophelia’s. While the Shakespearean character succumbs to madness and drowns, Swift sings that someone came along and saved her from that same fate.

She even includes the line, “Keep it one hundred on the land, the sea, the sky. Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes,” which feels like a clear nod to the Kansas City Chiefs.
