Through three weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs' offense hasn't been very good, averaging just 20 points per game.
Granted, that has been without Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy, so it has been left up to Marquise Brown, Tyquan Thornton, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Travis Kelce to carry the load, something they've all struggled with.
But as the Baltimore Ravens come into view, Worthy is set to return, which gives the Chiefs another weapon in the passing game, and for Patrick Mahomes, with the impending return of two stars, coupled with the other receivers on offense, things might finally be about to turn around.
“I think for us, at the end of the day, whenever we start getting these guys back like Xavier [Worthy] and Rashee [Rice] when he gets back, it's going to make us even better because guys had to step up and they've stepped up and made plays," Mahomes said. "You've seen Hollywood [Brown], Juju [Smith-Schuster], Tyquan [Thornton] all step up into their roles and have even bigger roles within the offense.
"So we'll continue to get better as the season goes. But it'll be an important week this week.”

Chiefs set for Ravens showdown with Xavier Worthy's return
To say that a Week 4 game is a must-win might be a little heavy-handed, but when you factor in that if the Chiefs lose, they will drop to 1-3 and with the Los Angeles Chargers at 3-0, winning the division might already be out of reach a month into the season.
As far as a playoff spot, no one is stating that the Chiefs won't make it, but it would need a big turnaround in fortunes to happen, and the returns of Worthy this week (we think) and then Rice in a couple of weeks, hopefully see an uptick in form.
But that is putting a lot of pressure on two players to come in and flip the script for the offense, and when you have Mahomes and Andy Reid, you are always going to be confident.
However, should the Chiefs lose, things will start to become a little worrying for the AFC champions, but with Worthy back in the lineup, will that be the firestarter needed to get this train properly back on track?
