The Kansas City Chiefs are facing the Houston Texans in a blockbuster game for Week 14's "Sunday Night Football." The Chiefs got off to a slow start, but flipped the script during halftime and looked like a different team. During the game, the broadcast revealed that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was going to the bench after every drive and putting a heating pad on his left knee.

He hasn't missed any part of the game, and is still scrambling and running around the field like we are used to seeing from Mahomes, but he's not 100%.

Here is what we know about Mahomes' knee issue in Week 14 vs. Texans.

What's wrong with Patrick Mahomes' knee?

There hasn't been an official diagnosis of Mahomes' left knee. The Chiefs quarterback was on the injury report leading up to the game with a knee issue, but it didn't seem super concerning because he was also a full practice participant each day.

Watching him play, you wouldn't know he had an issue. The only reason it became apparent in the game was because of a sideline report from the NBC broadcast that said that the Kansas City QB was putting a heating pad on his knee on the sideline every time he came off the field.

Is Patrick Mahomes injured?

The quarterback was on the injury report this week with a knee injury, but it hasn't caused him to miss any time in the game. The NBC broadcast mentioned that he is getting heat applied to his knee when he is on the sideline, but it doesn't seem to be hindering him at all on the field.

Mahomes did get tackled in the third quarter and hit the ground hard. When he got up, he was hobbling, but didn't come out of the game and continued running around the field with no limitation.
