The Chiefs were back in action on Saturday, with their first NFL preseason game this summer.
Patrick Mahomes is the last player who would need to prove himself in a preseason game, but he still was able to get in the game during the first quarter for a drive.
Mahomes had probably one of the quickest and most efficient drives in a long time. If you weren't paying attention, you likely missed out on your chance of watching Mahomes take the field on Saturday night.
What happened on Mahomes' first drive?
The Cardinals got the ball to start the game, but things went wrong very quickly.
On the kickoff, the Cardinals fumbled the ball, giving the Chiefs great field positioning off the turnover.
A run by Pacheco and a couple of penalties over the next couple of plays set the Chiefs up on the 1-yard line.

Mahomes had already thrown an incomplete pass, but since defensive pass interference was called, the play didn't technically count against Mahomes.
The Chiefs took over with first and goal on the 1-yard line, as Mahomes threw a 1-yard completion to Brownlee for a touchdown.
Mahomes finished the drive with a statline of 1/1, 1 YD and 1 TD. It doesn't seem like anything too extraordinary, but he got the job done.
After that drive, his night was over, as the Chiefs' backup quarterbacks, including Gardner Minshew and Bailey Zappe, entered the game.
This was Mahomes' first in-game appearance since losing 40-22 at this year's Super Bowl.
