Isiah Pacheco injury update leaves Chiefs RB's status up in the air for Week 12 image

The Kansas City Chiefs have been without running back Isiah Pacheco over the last two games, and the latest injury update on the running back leaves his status up in the air for Week 12.

After logging a full practice on Wednesday, Pacheco was downgraded to a limited participant during practice on Thursday. The 26-year-old has been dealing with an MCL sprain, which he suffered during Kansas City's blowout win over the Washington Commanders in Week 8.

"RB Isiah Pacheco was limited after a full day Wednesday. He’s still wearing a bulky brace on his right knee," Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest said on X.

Pacheco hasn't been spectacular in 2025, posting 329 rushing yards and one touchdown on 4.2 yards per carry. However, the Rutgers product is a valuable piece to the Chiefs' running back room and is a tone setter for Andy Reid's offense.

Getting Pacheco back in the lineup would be a major development for Kansas City. However, the 2022 seventh-round pick may have suffered a slight setback after being limited in practice on Thursday.

The Chiefs will look to get back in the win column versus the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Kansas City is 5-5 on the year and is in grave danger of missing the playoffs for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era.
