There's no other way to put it for the Kansas City Chiefs -- the time is now.
At 6-7 and facing the prospect of officially being eliminated from playoff contention if they lose in Week 15, the Chiefs know that a win has to be secured against the Los Angeles Chargers.
If not, the season is officially over.
That is some sort of pressure for a team that, usually, by this time of the year in Patrick Mahomes' career, has already secured a playoff spot. Now their season is on the line.
But after losing four of their last five games, what gives Patrick confidence that the Chiefs can flip the script and win their final four games?
"Just how I'm wired," Mahomes said. "I believe that this team can win any football game, but we have to come and show that. This will be a great challenge for us, we understand that. Have a great week of practice, try to prepare ourselves, and then try to win it on Sunday."

Can Chiefs keep season alive in Week 15?
Well, they have to.
Being in such a predicament, backs against the wall, and facing a Chargers team that took the Philadelphia Eagles to overtime with a quarterback who has one hand, that is quite the force to go up against.
But this Chiefs team hasn't looked like the bulletproof version we've seen over the years. In 2025, they can be got at, and several teams have already taken a chunk out of them.
There's only so much the Chiefs can take, and as we enter Week 15, they are one punch away from being knocked out.
Can they survive and live to fight another week?
