The Kansas City Chiefs are not having a good night when it comes to injuries, as the team lost wide receiver Xavier Worthy in the first half and now has a concern with linebacker Drue Tranquill.

Tranquill was banged-up in the third quarter of the Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Chargers after he took some friendly fire from a teammate.

During a play, Tranquill had a teammate fall on his leg, leading to the injury. This is the second time in the game that a Chiefs player was injured by his own teammate. The same happened to Worthy after he collided with tight end Travis Kelce.

Here's the latest injury update on Tranquill.

UPDATE: Tranquill has returned to the game.

Thankfully, Tranquill was able to walk off under his own power. He was then spotted sitting down on the sideline getting checked out by trainers.

We'll update this page when more information becomes available.
