The Kansas City Chiefs have an established starter currently sitting on their bench.

That could be the means to coming up with a trade to recoup some draft pick value.

Bleacher Report's Alex Kay singled out Wanya Morris, the offensive lineman, as part of his latest article.

Morris started 11 games in 2024 but hasn't been out there this season.

"Morris has fallen out of favor in Kansas City and would likely be available for cheap," Kay writes.

He suggests the Chiefs trade Morris to the Tennessee Titans for a sixth-round pick.

"Bringing in Wanya Morris could provide Tennessee with a capable starter while JC Latham recovers from injury," Kay writes. "Although Morris has been riding the pine for the Kansas City Chiefs this year, the 2023 third-rounder earned valuable reps as an 11-game starter in 2024."

The key for the Titans, of course, is keeping No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward upright and healthy.

"Ward's decision-making is clearly improving, but even if he's making perfect choices with the ball, the first-year passer won't be able to oversee a functional offense unless the Titans bulk up in the offensive trenches," Kay writes.

Beggars can't be choosers. Morris has flaws.

But for the Titans, he might be the best they can find right now. And if the Chiefs can get something back for a guy they clearly don't want to play anymore, it's an opportunity worth pursuing.
