Josh Allen makes playing quarterback look like he's got a video game controller in his hands and the settings placed on the easiest difficulty level.

Except this is the NFL. It's not supposed to work like that. It should occasionally look like things are hard for the Buffalo Bills' MVP quarterback.

It rarely does, though.

Usually, Allen is making the impossible look simple and the tough stuff seem like no problem.

That was true in last Thursday night's win over the Miami Dolphins, when Allen threw three touchdowns to reach 200 passing TDs for his career.

And in this case, it was true in a new way. Allen had never played an NFL game like this before.

According to ESPN, Allen only attempted one pass more than 10 yards down the field, and that was incomplete. He's never had a game without a completed pass that traveled 10 or more yards downfield.

But that's the thing about this fully evolved version of Josh Allen: It didn't matter.

He'll gladly run people over or throw the ball a country mile if needed.

He'll also happily hand the ball off to James Cook, toss some short passes to his wideouts and let everyone else make plays with the football in their hands.

Also, to be fair to Allen, this stat is just a tad misleading.

His touchdown pass to Dalton Kincaid was caught about 9.5 yards past the line of scrimmage, and with Allen throwing it from another 9 yards behind the line. So it was a tough throw, even if the official air yards stat says it traveled less than 10 (just based on the line of scrimmage and catch point).

Nuances like that are insignificant.

The Bills won, and that's what matters.

It's really all that matters to Allen, at least on the football field. At every opportunity, he's explained that last season's MVP trophy was nice but doesn't have much meaning.

The only trophy Allen wants is the Lombardi.

And each time he takes the field and finds a new way to win, it's one step closer to the ultimate prize.
