Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes reveals ideal OC candidate traits image

There will be a lot of change for the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason, both personnel-wise and coaching-wise.

Matt Nagy appears to be out as offensive coordinator, while defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's future is uncertain, with both looking at head coaching roles in the NFL.

That means head coach Andy Reid and his staff have to find replacements, which isn't an easy task.

But what might make it easier, particularly in finding a new offensive coordinator, is asking Patrick Mahomes. Because he already has an idea of what he wants in his new OC.

"I just want someone that loves football, that cares about football, that wants to do everything they can to win, to hold people accountable, and to bring new ideas every single day," Mahomes said.

But change doesn't mean bad, it just means different. And when you have Mahomes and Reid still with the franchise, you are in a great spot.

However, this is uncharted territory for Kansas City, and it will be interesting to see how they approach it.

Starting with who will be the new voice in Mahomes' ear.
