The Kansas City Chiefs desperately need an overhaul at running back, and with both Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt free agents, it could be a complete overhaul.
Some have the Chiefs looking at the draft and Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love as an option, but we aren't sure that Kansas City will want a rookie leading the room.
Still, there is a world where one of Pacheco or Hunt returns, with another back brought in to juice up the run game.
For CBS Sports' Zachary Pereles, while he has Javonte Williams remaining with the Dallas Cowboys, he's also named the Chiefs as a potential suitor.
That is rather interesting.

Is Williams a realistic option?
The Cowboys have made it known of their desire to keep Williams after his 1,201-yard, 11 TD season behind Dak Prescott.
But the Chiefs could certainly throw their hat into the ring. After all, Patrick Mahomes is a big carrot for most players.
Money would be a factor, with Javonte expected to fetch at least $6 million APY in his next contract, if not more.
Would the Chiefs be comfortable paying that? Possibly.
But if Williams did make the switch, he could give some more punch to Kansas City's run game, even if he is in a similar mold to Pacheco and Hunt.
