Chiefs get major lift with Patrick Mahomes and Xavier Worthy active for Ravens clash image

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to receive a major boost for their Week 4 showdown against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.

Wide receiver Xavier Worthy and quarterback Patrick Mahomes were officially declared active for Sunday's game against the Ravens, NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported on Friday.

Worthy, sidelined with a shoulder injury since the season opener, has been off the injury report and is fully cleared to play. Mahomes, who was listed with a right wrist injury earlier in the week, is also officially good to go, Pelissero confirmed in separate tweets.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid told reporters on Friday that the team will be taking extra care with Worthy.

“We’re not going to put him out there if he’s not healthy enough to go play where he feels comfortable," Reid said. "The other team is going to play hard no matter what, whether you have a shoulder (injury) or not, they’re going to try to knock you around a little bit.”

Kristian Fulton and Ashton Gillotte are listed as questionable for Sunday's game, while Mike Danna is doubtful, according to the Chiefs' latest injury report.
