We might have seen the last of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in the NFL.

With the Chiefs missing the playoffs this season, Kansas City played its final game of the season in Week 18, and it might have been the last for Kelce.

While Kelce has yet to make an official decision, he has flirted with retirement before, so it's not crazy to think he could hang up his cleats.

However, if you ask Chiefs star defensive lineman Chris Jones, he believes Kelce will be back in 2026.

"Chiefs DT Chris Jones believes that Travis Kelce will be back in 2026," Charles Goldman of AtoZ Sports relayed.

After Patrick Mahomes suffered a season-ending torn ACL a few weeks back, Kelce referred to his team as "the Chiefs" rather than "we" when talking about Mahomes' eventual return.

That led many to believe that Kelce is indeed planning to retire.

"He's going to make sure that he comes back stronger than ever, and hopefully the Chiefs can get him back as soon as possible," Kelce said.

If Kelce does decide to retire, he's going to have plenty to do.

On top of having his own podcast and likely having offers to be a television analyst, Kelce is set to get married to pop superstar Taylor Swift.

It remains to be seen when Kelce will make his decision, but it could come any day.
