Yes, before games kick off on Sunday, the Chiefs are still alive in the playoff race, although most models give them a 10% chance at best to seize a wild card spot.
What happens if the Chiefs lose on Sunday?
If the Chiefs lose Sunday to the Chargers, they might be eliminated from playoff contention.
The loss would make the Chiefs 6-8 and starts to crush any chances of certain tiebreakers even with three wins in a row to end the season.
