The Kansas City Chiefs' 2025 season is drawing to a close, and at this time of year, the futures of players and coaches take center stage.
For the Chiefs, Travis Kelce looms as the big-ticket item this offseason, with the future Hall of Famer thinking of retiring last offseason before going around again.
But there is one other who might have gone under the radar -- head coach Andy Reid.
There have been rumors for the past couple of seasons of Reid potentially retiring, but the head coach has remained with the Chiefs.
But what about now? Is Reid coming back in 2026?
"I think I'm coming back," a laughing Reid said. "If they'll have me back. You never know in this business. I plan on it, yeah."

Chiefs face huge offseason
With the dynasty over, some think this offseason will be a significant overhaul for the Chiefs, but in truth, it is likely to be a reset of sorts.
With the futures of several players up in the air and Patrick Mahomes injured, Kansas City should use this offseason to retool and really address its issues.
Whether that is personnel or coaching staff, this is the time to deep dive and set the Chiefs up for their next run.
Kelce, Chris Jones, and others will have their futures decided in the coming months, and then we will get a proper lay of the land on where this Chiefs team is heading in 2026.
But one thing is for sure -- Reid will be the head coach...we think.
