Travis Hunter continues to defy critics by contributing on both sides of the ball.
The Jacksonville Jaguars' star has played 59.5% of offensive snaps and 38.7% of defensive snaps. Head coach Liam Coen has consistently said Hunter’s role would be as a starter on offense and a backup on defense.
Through five NFL games, quarterback Trevor Lawrence has targeted Hunter 24 times, with 16 receptions for 182 yards. Hunter is still searching for his first career touchdown. On defense, he has recorded 12 tackles and two passes defended.
Hunter and the Jaguars will face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6. Jacksonville is coming off an impressive win over the Kansas City Chiefs and will host Seattle as the Seahawks make the cross-country trip.
