Bhayshul Tuten isn't in an easy situation.

The Jacksonville Jaguars' running back room is as crowded as they come. The depth chart is still murky heading into Week 1, too.

But the fourth-round pick has one skill that could allow him to break through: the big play ability.

"An AFC scout called Tuten an 'explosive, home-run hitter' for Jacksonville’s new coaching staff and for quarterback Trevor Lawrence," writes The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue.

For a rookie who may not see the field a ton in the early going, it's big plays that could make the statement needed to move up the depth chart.

Tuten has that talent, and so he might just break through.

It's complicated, though.

The Jags have Travis Etienne conceptually atop the depth chart. The one-time Clemson star has been a solid NFL performer, but he's approaching the end of the rope that comes for modern RBs in this league when a contract is nearing its end. Teams start to look toward the future rather than consider shelling out a new contract to a running back, and so Etienne might get fazed out.

Tank Bigsby is younger and showed last season that he's a solid rusher, too.

Jacksonville also drafted rookie LeQuint Allen out of Syracuse. He's a great pass catcher and was strong in a high-volume role at SU.

Somehow, those four guys have to shake out into a coherent unit for Lawrence and new head coach Liam Coen.

Tuten may not get a ton of early touches, so he'll have no choice but to make the most of them with some explosive plays.
