Travis Etienne is entering the final season of his Jaguars contract.
He almost certainly won't stick with Jacksonville when it expires, and he could even be traded before then.
The Jags confirmed that unofficially with their fourth-round pick of RB Bhayshul Tuten out of Virginia Tech.
Tuten began his college career at North Carolina A&T before spending two seasons with the Hokies.
In 2024 at Virginia Tech, Tuten ran 183 times for 1,159 yards (6.3 ypc) and 15 touchdowns.
Tuten is the fastest RB out of the draft.
At the 2025 NFL Combine, he ran a 4.32-second 40-yard dash.

The Jaguars' current running back depth chart now includes Etienne, Tuten and Tank Bigsby.
Bigsby is younger and cheaper than Etienne, as will be the case with Tuten.
The Jags have continued to build up the offense around Trevor Lawrence.
But their next move might be a subtraction of Etienne in order to fully reach their team's long-term ceiling.
Tuten is certainly a part of the picture going forward, probably in place of Etienne.
