If you had asked people before the season, not many would've predicted the Jacksonville Jaguars to be in this position entering Week 18.
Not only are the Jags in the driver's seat to win the AFC South Division title. They also have a chance to get the conference's No. 1 seed.
The top seed would come with a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the conference playoffs.
It's not the most likely scenario in play, but it's still there, and for that reason, it seems the Jags will have everything to play for this week.

How can the Jaguars get the AFC 1-seed?
The Jags need three results to get the 1-seed:
- Jaguars win over Titans
- Patriots loss to Dolphins
- Broncos loss to Chargers
The Jags will be favored to beat the spunky Titans team.
The Pats, though, should be heavy favorites against the Quinn Ewers-led Dolphins.
And the Broncos are going against a Chargers team that is resting Justin Herbert and playing backup QB Trey Lance.
The odds are against this scenario.
How do the Jaguars clinch the AFC South?
The Jaguars win the division with a victory on Sunday, so they'll want to win.
If the Jags lose and the Texans win over Indy, Jacksonville becomes a wild card team and has to go on the road in the first round of the playoffs.
If the Jaguars and Texans both lose, the Jags win the division.
