The Jacksonville Jaguars have yet another injury concern at the wide receiver spot ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the Houston Texans.
Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Suffered an ankle injury in the Week 9 loss to the Denver Broncos. Thomas exited the game before returning, but he was absent for Jacksonville's final drive in the fourth quarter and for overtime.
Thomas' injury is just the latest to Jaguars' wide receivers room, as Travis Hunter is on injured reserve with a knee injury. This is why the Jaguars sprung for wideout Jakobi Meyers at the trade deadline.
Here's the latest update on Thomas' status on Thursday.
Is Brian Thomas Jr. Practicing Thursday?
According to Demetrius Harvey of Jacksonville.com, Thomas was not spotted at practice on Thursday, which means he's heading for another "DNP" on the injury report.
We'll get our answer a little later in the day when Jacksonville drops its second injury report. This page will be updated once that's available.
Who is Brian Thomas Jr.'s handcuff?
It would typically be Hunter, but we know he's on the shelf.
Meyers would seem to be the next man in line given his experience, but it's hard to gauge how much Meyers will do with a limited knowledge of the playbook and no live-game experience with Trevor Lawrence, so he's a total wild card.
Parker Washington is probably the best bet to start in fantasy football out of Jags pass-catchers right now, as Lawrence is most familiar with him.
