On Saturday, a prominent NFL insider illustrated how much Daniel Jones has improved in his first year with the Indianapolis Colts. It was officially the anniversary of when the New York Giants sent him packing after seven seasons. Writer Dianna Russini posted on social media how Jones, 28, has finally found his rhythm in a new environment.
Today marks the one-year anniversary of Daniel Jones’ Giants release," Russini wrote. "Tomorrow, he leads the Colts’ league-best offense into Kansas City, a half-game back of the best record in the AFC."

Jones has been masterful in the pocket for Indy this year, completing 223 of 319 passes for 2659 yards, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. His quarterback rating heading into Week 12 is 101.6, as opposed to the 79.4 he posted last season in New York.
What to expect from Daniel Jones in Week 12

While it's easy to say the offense is built around running back Jonathan Taylor, Jones has certainly run the machine effectively and limited mistakes, as he has seemingly found a new home in Indy.
The Colts (8-2) will face the league's most dominant team of the last 10 years, the Kansas City Chiefs (5-5), on the road on Sunday. KC is coming off a backbreaking 22-19 loss to their division rivals, the Denver Broncos, last week. The Chiefs have not looked nearly as unstoppable this season.
Jones has only faced Kansas City once in his career. Despite his sputtering stint in the Big Apple, he defeated the Chiefs in that single start, completing 22 of 32 passes for 22 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in 2021.
