Is Michael Pittman Jr. playing today? Why Colts WR is off to slow start in Week 10 image

Michael Pittman Jr. Is in the midst of resurgent season with the Indianapolis Colts going into the Week 10 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Pittman is the Colts' leading receiver with 561 yards and six touchdowns in nine contests, and he's on pace to break his career-high of 1,152 yards, which he had totaled in 2023.

However, Pittman Jr. Is off to a slow start in Week 10 against the Falcons. Here's a closer look at what's going on.

Pittman Jr. To play today?

UPDATE: FINALLY! Pittman is on the board with his first catch with less than three minutes left in the first half and it went for seven yards.

UPDATE: We are now through five drives and Pittman still hasn't been targeted, which is shocking to say the least. Indy went three-and-out on its latest drive. The most likely explanation is the Falcons are focusing extra attention on Indy's No. 1 wide receiver, and he's also probably seeing plenty of coverage from Atlanta's top cornerback, A.J. Terrell, which doesn't help.

UPDATE: Indy is now through three drives and still no target for Pittman. The Colts scored a touchdown on the series, but the deep ball went to Pierce.

Yes, Pittman Jr. Is playing today, he just hasn't been targeted through one drive.

Instead, quarterback Daniel Jones targeted running back Jonathan Taylor, tight ends Tyler Warren and Mo Alie-Cox and wide receivers Alec Pierce and Josh Downs, with  Jones completing passes to Taylor, Warren and Pierce.

Pittman shouldn't be quiet for long, though.
