It has been a tough season for wide receiver Josh Downs, who hasn't had much success in the Indianapolis Colts' elite offense.
Despite quarterback Daniel Jones and the offense playing at a high level, Downs went into Week 10 with just 313 receiving yards, which ranks fourth on the team behind Michael Pittman Jr., Tyler Warren and Alec Pierce.
In what is no surprise, Downs is off to a slow start in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons. Here's a closer look at what's going on.
Is Josh Downs playing today?
UPDATE: Downs is on the stat sheet with a three-yard catch on the Colts' fourth drive.
UPDATE: Downs was not targeted on Indy's third series and instead it was Pierce who was the beneficiary of a deep-ball by Jones that scored a touchdown.
Yes, Downs is active and on the field, and he even saw a target on the opening drive but he and Jones just couldn't connect.
Jones did complete passes to Jonathan Taylor, Warren and Pierce, which is another example of just how crowded Indy's wide receivers room is.
Downs is unlikely to be blanked all game, but we wouldn't expect huge production from him, either.
