The Indianapolis Colts and their fans are holding their breath right now after quarterback Daniel Jones exited Week 14 early with an injury.

Jones, who entered the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a fractured fibula, went down with a non-contact Achilles injury in the first half and was ruled out immediately.

While the early fear is a torn Achilles, there is a good sign Jones might have avoided a significant injury.

According to a photo from Angela Moryan of Wish 8 News, Jones is on the sideline in the second half with an ear piece in. He is also sporting a walking boot.

This is good news because if Jones had suffered a torn Achilles, he almost certainly would not be back out on the sideline with his team.

While this doesn't guarantee he won't miss time, it might mean he avoided a season-ending issue, which would wreck the Colts' playoff chances.
