The Indianapolis Colts are one of the best stories of the 2025 NFL season. After finishing 8-9 in 2024, the Colts signed Daniel Jones and made the shocking decision to make him the Week 1 starter over former top pick Anthony Richardson. This led many to believe the Colts' season was done before it even began. However, all the Colts have done is dominate.
Indianapolis has scored at least 30 points in five of its seven games, and most recently defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 38-24 in Week 7. After the game, Jones spoke with Evan Washburn of CBS Sports, who noted that many were surprised about the hot start for the Colts.
"Sounds like y'all didn't know much," Jones said. "We're just gonna keep going, keep working. We have a lot of confidence, I think we have a lot of good players and guys that work hard and do the right things."
It was a rare glimpse into the personality of Jones, who has been tremendous for the Colts this season. Through seven games, he has 10 touchdown passes to just three interceptions and is posting a passer rating of 105.9.
