The Indianapolis Colts secondary seems pretty set entering the offseason workout program.

However, a key member of the unit over the last few seasons remains available on the open market. Safety Julian Blackmon doesn't appear to be returning, but he should find a home soon.

When looking at the one final move every team needs to make this offseason, Bleacher Report's Moe Moton predicted Blackmon will stay in the AFC South to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"In 2024, the Jaguars gave up the most passing yards and logged the third-fewest interceptions (six). They signed Eric Murray, but he has only three interceptions in nine seasons. Darnell Savage has two interceptions over the last three years. Jacksonville needs a game-changer at safety. Julian Blackmon has registered seven interceptions over the previous two terms, and he can play both safety spots," Moton wrote.

Blackmon has been a versatile defender ever since he began his NFL career in 2020. The Utah product has had success both as a free safety and a defender working toward the line of scrimmage, and he's still just 26 years old.

However, the biggest detriment to his game has been his availability. The former third-round pick entered the league working his way back from a torn ACL he suffered during his final collegiate season. Though he put together a promising rookie campaign, Blackmon suffered a torn Achilles in 2021 and has dealt with various shoulder injuries over the last few seasons.

Spotrac projected Blackmon to receive a three-year deal worth $24 million in free agency at the start of the offseason, but it's unlikely he will land a deal of that value at this point.

Still, the Jaguars could be in the market for a versatile talent like Blackmon as the season gets closer.
