It wouldn't be the NFL Draft without a trade back involving Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard.
After staying put with their first three selections through the first two days of the draft, Ballard finally made his first deal of the weekend.
The Colts traded their fourth-round pick (No. 117 overall) to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a fourth-round pick (No. 127 overall) and a sixth-round pick (No. 190 overall).
With the Colts' original pick at No. 117, the Rams selected Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter.
According to the NFL trade value chart from Over The Cap, the pick the Colts sent away was worth 587 points while the two picks they received were worth 886 points total — giving the Colts an edge of 299 points.
The Colts still have a fourth-round pick but will now have consecutive selections in the sixth round at Nos. 189 and 190 overall.
