Tank Dell is missing from the 2025 NFL season.
That's how it goes after a nasty injury. Dell isn't close to healthy enough to play.
But the Houston Texans' talented wide receiver is on the comeback trail.
Dell dislocated his left kneecap and tore ligaments in that knee in December of last season. It's a longshot that he can make it back for 2025 at all.
On Tuesday, though, a fan shared a meme with the words, "We still talk about you," that featured a photograph of Dell buried under the dirt with a sad body laying on top of what essentially looked to be a grave.

Dell was tagged in the post on X and had to respond:

That's Dell confirming that he isn't dead, which is true.
He'll turn 26 years old later this month. With modern medical technology, Dell's rehab should eventually have him back to full strength and able to resume his NFL career.

He's a talented player, to be sure. Through 25 NFL games, Dell had 98 catches for 1,376 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Playing with C.J. Stroud could form a continued connection for years to come if Dell is able to get back to full strength.
It's not clear exactly how far along Dell is in the recovery process, but he has confirmed for all his fans that he's still alive and getting after it.
