The Houston Texans are off to a rough 0-3 start, and their offense is one of the worst in the NFL through three weeks.
Per Next Gen Stats, the Texans are tied for the fewest touchdowns in the NFL with three, and they are averaging the fourth-fewest yards per game. On top of that, C.J. Stroud has been horrendous. A lot of that can be attributed to the offensive line, but he's also in charger of calling out the protections for the first time in his career- a role that seems to be a bit too much for the Ohio State product. Amidst all of the early-season struggles, Dianna Russini of The Athletic revealed that something big could be dropping soon about Houston.
“There are some things going on behind the scenes that I think we are going to find out about soon," Russini tells Dan Le Betard.
What this behind-the-scenes issue/story is, no one seems to know, but nothing about it sounds good, especially with where the team currently sits. If they fall to the Tennessee Titans, or even if they win but the game is far too close and the offense struggles, things could get ugly very quickly in Houston.
