The Houston Texans saw second-year running back Jawhar Jordan step up in a big way during the Week 15 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Jordan ripped off 101 yards on 15 carries while adding two receptions for 17 yards in the 40-20 win over Arizona.

Jordan saw increased opportunities in the contest with Nick Chubb ruled out, and with Woody Marks exiting the game early due to injury.

However, both Chubb and Marks are expected to play in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders, which sets up for a murky situation in Houston's backfield.

Here's what we would do with Jordan in Week 16, assuming both Chubb and Marks do end up playing.

Jawhar Jordan start or sit advice

Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans praised Jordan for his performance last week, but he would not say if that would lead to more touches moving forward.

In order for Jordan to have a sizeable role, he will likely need one of Chubb or Marks to sit out, and right now it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

That means, at best, Jordan is looking at being part of a two-man rotation, and he might get caught up in a three-man rotation if he didn't fully jump Chubb on the team's depth chart.

If Marks and Chubb both sit, we're starting Jordan against a Raiders defense giving up the ninth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season.

We would feel a bit better about Jordan if Marks does not play, as we could see the Texans giving the more explosive Jordan lead-back duties over Chubb, who hasn't moved the needle much in 2025.

But until we see Chubb and/or Marks sit out, we can't justify putting Jordan in lineups this week.

Verdict: Sit
