Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has been on the shelf due to injury for most of the season.

Reed suffered a broken clavicle all the way back in Week 2 that required surgery. The veteran wideout had surgery for that and for a foot problem that had plagued him since the offseason.

When he does return, Reed will be back to 100%, which would not have been the case before his collarbone injury because the foot problem was expected to continuously plague him all season long.

Reed has been eligible to return from injured reserve for several weeks now, but he has yet to be designated to return.

Here's what we know about Week 12.

Will Jayden Reed return in Week 12?

It does not look like Reed will play in Week 12.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur revealed that Reed will not have his 21-day window opened on Wednesday, according to Packers beat writer Weston Hodkiewicz, and he remains uncertain when that will happen.

"As soon as medical clears him, he'll be out there. I know he's excited to get back, as am I," LaFleur said.

On Tuesday, Reed posted a past photo of himself fully decked out in his Packers gear. That led many to believe he is on the cusp of returning.

Reed was initially given a timeline of six to eight weeks to return.

We are already well beyond that at this point, so his return could come any week now, although it doesn't look like it'll be in Week 12.

The Packers could certainly use him.

Rookie Matthew Golden has been banged-up in recent weeks and the Packers are missing star tight end Tucker Kraft for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL.

Whenever he gets back, Reed will offer a significant boost to the passing attack.
