Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson's 2025 season has been filled with injuries.

Watson didn't play a snap this year until Week 8 as he was recovering from a torn ACL suffered towards the end of the 2024 regular season during the first seven weeks. Since then, the 26-year-old has been dealing with a shoulder injury that caused him to leave Green Bay's Week 15 contest versus the Denver Broncos.

Though Watson was able to play through the shoulder issue in the Packers' Week 16 loss to the Chicago Bears, he's back on the injury report ahead of Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Will Christian Watson play in Week 17?

Watson seemed on track to play this week after logging two full practices on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, Watson didn't practice on Thursday and is now questionable to play on Saturday versus Baltimore.

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, there is an illness going around in the Packers locker room. It looks like Watson may have caught it, as illness was added to his injury concern, along with the shoulder issue.

"Christian Watson and Sean Rhyan have seemingly picked up the illness that’s going around the locker room and are also questionable," Schneidman said on X.

We'll see if Watson can push through and play for the Packers on Saturday. The 2022 second-round pick has been impactful when on the field this season, posting 30 interceptions for 498 yards and five touchdowns.
