The Green Bay Packers are going with a totally different look for Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.

A week after rocking some sharp all-white uniforms, this Sunday is a serious throwback.

The Packers helmets are brown, and their jerseys have some navy to them in addition to yellow lettering.

Unlike the modern look of those all-whites, these uniforms are a nod to the past.

Why do the Packers' uniforms look different vs. Panthers?

The Packers are breaking out their 1923 throwback edition uniforms.

Here's a look:

Interestingly, the Packers just took on the Steelers who were wearing a throwback of their own that didn't look dissimilar to this.

These even come with helmets meant to look like leather helmets, too.

Those 1923 Packers, if you're wondering, went 7-2-1.

They were coached by Curly Lambeau. Lambeau also led the team with three touchdowns, tied in that category with Stan Mills.

Cub Buck led the team with 23 points, on six field goals and five extra points. He also played left tackle.

Maybe the Packers will let their left tackle kick a field goal Sunday, for old times' sake.
