The Green Bay Packers have a massive divisional clash on Sunday.
They take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12 with some afternoon rivalry vibes.
The Packers won't be at full strength, though. They won't have Josh Jacobs.
Instead, Green Bay will rely on Emmanuel Wilson to lead its backfield. The Packers also have Chris Brooks and the promoted-from-practice-squad Pierre Strong Jr.
Why isn't Josh Jacobs playing today?
Josh Jacobs isn't playing Sunday due to injury.
He hurt his knee in Week 11. In that game, he was originally ruled questionable before being determined as out for the remainder of the contest.
Jacobs went through Week 12 preparation with a questionable tag, as well, and on Sunday, he was ruled inactive.
During the week, Jacobs told reporters that at most, he'd miss one game. This is the start of a stretch of three consecutive divisional games for the Packers, who would surely enjoy having their top RB back sooner rather than later.
The Packers' offense Sunday is also without rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden. And they've already lost TE Tucker Kraft for the season.
It'll be up to Jordan Love, the fill-in Wilson and a still-deep WR corps to find a way to beat the Vikings without Jacobs and company.
