This wasn't the season opener they envisioned, with Tucker Kraft slated to be their primary tight end.

However, injuries have significantly altered the situation. Players such as Luke Musgrave, John FitzPatrick, and Josh Whyle all received playing time on Sunday.
Perhaps one of them will emerge and claim the TE1 position. However, it's essential that someone does, as Kraft won't be the one to do it.

Kraft tore his ACL on Nov. 3, ending his 2025 campaign.
He wrote a message on Instagram the day after his injury, using a Bible verse, Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Kraft sustained an injury during the third quarter of the Week 9 matchup against the Panthers. He was engaged in a block when he was struck from behind, with his right foot firmly on the ground.
Green Bay will hope Kraft is ready for next season.
But for the rest of this season, tight end went from a strength to a weakness for the Packers.
