The Green Bay Packers had an injury scare with tight end Tucker Kraft at practice on Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, Kraft suffered a left knee injury at practice that forced his early exit from the field. This, of course, set off panic among Packers fans and fantasy football managers alike, who feared the worst.

Thankfully, the worst did not unfold and Kraft has avoided a significant injury, which is a huge sigh of relief for the Packers, as the third-year tight end is immensely important to Green Bay's offense.

That said, Kraft's status for the Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns is now up in the air. We'll be tracking all of the latest injury and status updates for Kraft below.

Tucker Kraft injury update

While we don't have the exact injury Kraft suffered, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report that Kraft just tweaked his knee and he checked out OK after initial tests.

Kraft ended up being listed as a limited participant in practice, but that is the typical designation players receive when they leave a session early.

Nevertheless, it's great news that Kraft didn't suffer anything more serious and it doesn't look like he'll miss an extended period of time.

Will Tucker Kraft play this week?

This is a question we don't have an exact answer to yet, but there is hope based on a report from The Athletic's Matt Schneidman and Dianna Russini.

They report that Kraft still has a chance to play in Week 3.

"Tucker Kraft only 'tweaked' his knee and could still play Sunday against the Browns, sources tell me and [Dianna Russini]," Schneidman wrote. "Nothing definitive about Sunday in Cleveland, as how Kraft feels tomorrow will be important."

So, we'll be keeping our eyes glued for the Friday injury report to see how much participation Kraft gets in and what kind of game designation he draws.

We tend to believe the Packers will err on the side of caution when it comes to the talented 24-year-old tight end after his injury scare, but that remains to be seen.

If Kraft doesn't go, Luke Musgrave will be the next man up at tight end.
