The Green Bay Packers got a big name when they signed Trevon Diggs after the Dallas Cowboys cut him.
But did they get a good player?
That is much less clear.
Diggs' debut couldn't have gotten off to a much worse start.
On the very first play, guarding Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson, Diggs played about as off-coverage as you'll ever see:
The very first play of the Vikings/Packers game. Trevon Diggs is picking up right where he left off in Dallas. Soft coverage, slow reaction, easy 20-yard completion. Good luck, cheeseheads. Pic.twitter.com/18e4mIcGoB

Diggs had to get back up to speed on the field, and he's playing with a new team, with new teammates and in a new defensive scheme.
But at some point, he's got to prove he can still make plays.
Right now, Diggs looks like a guy who might not be up to the task.
The Packers' cornerback group isn't great, so Diggs might still have to play.
But if it looks anything like that play above, it won't be ideal.
