The Green Bay Packers are getting ready for the playoffs.
To do so, they're adding just a bit of roster depth in the form of three new free agent signings to the practice squad.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the moves on Tuesday with these three players signed:
- WR Julian Hicks
- WR Kisean Johnson
- TE Messiah Swinson

None of these players would be expected to be on the active roster to take on the Chicago Bears, but they add depth and potentially some skill players to run various looks in practice.
Hicks has previously spent time on the practice squad. He played college football at Central Michigan, Akron and Albany.
He was in the 2024 draft class and went undrafted.
Johnson was a sixth-round pick back in 2019 by the Arizona Cardinals out of Western Kentucky. He most recently was with the Browns in the summer.

Swinson went to Missouri and Arizona State. He has spent NFL practice squad time with the Packers, Panthers, 49ers and Cardinals.
Most recently, the Cardinals cut Swinson on Dec. 30 from their practice squad. The Packers didn't waste much time bringing him back on board.
