And for the first time in a Packers uniform, Parsons didn't get a win.

It wasn't the fault of Parsons and the defense, but it still was a bummer for the new superstar acquired in a trade from the Dallas Cowboys.
After the game, these are the words Parsons used to describe what happened, via ESPN's Rob Demovsky:
"Sometimes, just like today, you s— the bed. That's just the reality of it. It happens to the best teams. Even the best Super Bowl champs make mistakes, and they pay for it early. You go back to the history of the champions and who've they've played and games they should've won. It's just that competitive."

The Packers had too many penalties, and Jordan Love threw a costly interception, and they still could've won the game if they just avoided having a field goal blocked in the closing stages.
But Parsons is right. After two great Packers outings, they were simply poor on Sunday.
There's a lot of football left, as he says, and lots of chances for Green Bay to prove itself as a great team.
But for one day, the Packers were certainly a mess.
