The Green Bay Packers are set to square off against the Chicago Bears in Week 16, and running back Josh Jacobs' status has been in question all week.

Jacobs didn't practice a single time this week, and his chances to play in Saturday's contest versus the Bears looked slim. However, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Jacobs will suit up for Green Bay's pivotal NFC North showdown.

"Packers RB Josh Jacobs will be active tonight against the Bears, per sources," Pelissero reported on X.

"Jacobs continues to battle a knee injury. He was on crutches Monday. He didn’t practice all week. But with the division potentially on the line, he’s going," Pelissero added.

Despite not practicing and even wearing a brace on his knee at one point this week, Jacobs is pushing through and will play for Green Bay tonight in Chicago. He was initially listed as questionable on the Packers' final injury report on Thursday.

Jacobs has tallied 890 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns in 13 games this year, and has been the engine of the offense since signing with the Packers during the 2024 offseason.

We'll see how Jacobs performs on the injured knee on Saturday against a tough Bears defense. Though he will likely be on a pitch count, the Pro Bowl running back should still be a key part of the Packers' gameplan.
