The Green Bay Packers released their inactives ahead of a pivotal NFC North contest versus the Chicago Bears, and the list finally revealed the statuses of running back Josh Jacobs and wide receiver Christian Watson.
Jacobs and Watson will be active tonight for the Packers, though offensive tackle Zach Tom and safety Evan Williams will not play.
Here is the full list of inactives for the Packers tonight:
- S Evan Williams
- T Zach Tom
- DL Quinton Bohanna
- TE Josh Whyle
- DL Nazir Stackhouse
Despite not practicing all week and dealing with knee and ankle issues, Jacobs will push through and play. He will likely be on a pitch count, though, as Green Bay doesn't want to overwork the already injured running back.
Watson left the Packers' Week 15 game versus the Denver Broncos early with a chest/shoulder injury, but avoided any serious injuries. The young wide receiver missed practice on Tuesday before logging two limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday, which led to him being listed as questionable.
Jacobs and Watson being active is a major boost for Green Bay in a must-win game on the road. If the Packers pull off the victory tonight in Chicago, they will regain control of the NFC North and complete the season sweep of the Bears.
