After a crushing season-ending loss, the Green Bay Packers have to figure out what to do with Matt LaFleur, but one would assume that if he is indeed cut loose, the team will consider John Harbaugh as a replacement.
Prior to the Packers' collapse on Saturday night, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that LaFleur was safe and the team would try to extend him in the offseason.
But, again, that was before Green Bay's epic loss to the Chicago Bears in the wild-card game, so it's very possible things have changed and LaFleur could get shown the door.
If LaFleur gets the boot, ESPN's Adam Schefter isn't ruling out Harbaugh getting the Packers job, with Schefter pointing out a connection the former Baltimore Ravens head coach has with Green Bay.
That connection comes in the form of his agent, Bryan Harlan, who is the son of former Packers president, Bob Harlan.
Schefter adds that Harbaugh is a mid-western guy, and many around the league feel it's possible the Packers could jump to the top of his list of preferred destinations if LaFleur gets canned.

If Harbaugh does indeed have interest in the Packers, it's understandable why.
After all, Green Bay is a young team ready to compete now, which is a far cry from other teams looking for a new head coach. The Packers also have a franchise quarterback in place in Jordan Love, which helps as well.
Since he became available, the expectation has been that Harbaugh would likely land with the New York Giants, as the two sides have mutual interest, per reports.
Now, we have to consider the Packers as a threat to the Giants.
